Question 1

What exactly is a decant?

Accepted Answer

A decant is fragrance transferred from the original, sealed designer or niche bottle into a smaller atomiser. The scent is identical — only the container changes. The full-size bottle is never included.

Question 2

Which sizes can I order?

Accepted Answer

Every fragrance is available in 3ml, 5ml, 10ml and 20ml. As a rough guide, 1ml gives roughly 10–12 sprays, so a 10ml decant is around 100–120 sprays.

Question 3

Do you dilute or alter the fragrance?

Accepted Answer

Never. Nothing is added, removed or diluted. What leaves our studio is exactly what was inside the original bottle.

Question 4

How long does a decant last?

Accepted Answer

Stored away from heat and direct sunlight, a decant keeps well for a couple of years. Our atomisers are opaque-friendly glass and sealed to limit air exposure.

Question 5

How do I know the fragrance is genuine?

Accepted Answer

Every bottle is bought sealed at retail or wholesale from established fragrance stockists, then inspected on arrival for seal, colour, scent and labelling. Anything questionable is rejected outright. We are an independent decanter and not an authorised distributor for any brand.

Question 6

Are you affiliated with the brands you sell?

Accepted Answer

No. Perfumeza is an independent decanter. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any fragrance house, and all trademarks belong to their owners.

Question 7

Why does my decant smell slightly different from the tester in store?

Accepted Answer

In-store testers are often old, heavily sprayed and oxidised. A fresh decant from a sealed bottle can smell brighter in the opening — that is the fragrance performing as intended.

Question 8

How long does delivery take?

Accepted Answer

Orders are hand-filled and dispatched within 1–2 working days. Delivery time then depends on your destination and the tracked service selected at checkout.

Question 9

Can I track my order?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Enter your order number and email on our tracking page and you will see live fulfilment and delivery status.

Question 10

Is my parcel discreet?

Accepted Answer

Every decant is padded, sealed and leak-protected inside plain outer packaging. There is nothing on the outside indicating the contents.

Question 11

What if something arrives damaged?

Accepted Answer

Contact us within 14 days with your order number and a photo, and we will replace or refund the affected items.

Question 12

Can I return a decant I did not like?

Accepted Answer

For hygiene reasons, opened decants cannot be resold and so cannot be returned. Unopened items in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery.

Question 13

What if I received the wrong item?

Accepted Answer

Message us with your order number and we will send the correct decant straight away, with return postage covered where needed.
